🗝️ Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 10:00 AM.

Early check-in from 3:00 PM is complimentary if your suite is ready — subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. To guarantee an early arrival before 4:00 PM, we recommend reserving the prior night.

Late check-out until 12:30 PM is available for $35 + tax — please request the evening before departure.

If you fail to depart by 10:00 AM, management reserves the right to enter the suite, take possession of the room, re-key the door, and make the suite available to incoming guests.

📱 Self Check-In

Chateau Coralini operates a seamless self check-in process. On the day of arrival you will receive a text message with your suite number and private entry code — no waiting, no front desk, just walk right in.

☕ Meals & Dining

Chateau Coralini is a self-catering property — breakfast and meals are not included. We invite guests to explore the exceptional dining scene of Monterey County, Carmel, and the Salinas Valley.

📶 WiFi

Complimentary high-speed WiFi is available throughout the property. Connection details are provided in your suite upon arrival.

💳 Payment & Incidentals

Full payment is collected 48 hours before arrival. A $150 refundable incidental hold is placed on your credit card at check-in and released at checkout.

A valid credit card is required for the incidental hold. Exceptions may be considered for international guests — please contact us in advance to make arrangements.

Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.

📋 Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours before arrival for a full refund, less a $10 processing fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival, no-shows, and early departures forfeit the full reservation amount. Once checked in, reservations are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Special events, long weekends, and holidays may carry their own cancellation terms.

🤫 Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are 8:30 PM to 8:30 AM. Chateau Coralini is a sanctuary of rest for all guests. We ask everyone to honor the quiet enjoyment of their neighbors during these hours.

No parties or loud noise are permitted at any time. Prolonged excessive noise at any hour may result in a minimum charge of $250 and/or eviction without refund.

🪪 Identification & Occupancy

All guests must be at least 18 years of age to book a room. A valid state or government-issued photo ID — such as a passport or driver's license — is required at check-in. A valid credit or debit card matching the name on the reservation must be presented.

Suites accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. The Violini Cottage accommodates a maximum of 4 guests. A person includes any adult, child, or infant.

👥 Registered Guests & Visitors

Chateau Coralini is a private estate and all amenities — including the wine cellar, game room, courtyard, and grounds — are reserved exclusively for registered guests.

Brief courtesy visits such as pick-ups and drop-offs are of course welcome. We simply ask that non-registered visitors do not use or linger in any amenity areas during their visit.

If you would like to host someone on the property, please reach out to us in advance — we are always happy to discuss arrangements. Guests who are found to have extended unauthorized access to property amenities may be subject to additional charges or asked to vacate without refund.

No visitors are permitted after 9:00 PM.

🚭 Smoke-Free & Flame-Free Property

All buildings and suites at Chateau Coralini are entirely smoke-free. Evidence of smoking inside a suite will result in an additional night's room charge plus a $250 cleaning fee.

As directed by the Monterey County Fire Marshal, the use of candles, incense, lighters, and any open flames is strictly prohibited indoors.

🐾 Pets & Service Animals

Chateau Coralini does not permit pets or emotional support animals. Service animals are welcome in accordance with ADA guidelines.

Guest rooms found to have evidence of unauthorized pets — including pet dander or odor — will be charged a $200 non-refundable deep cleaning fee.

🚗 Parking

Complimentary self-parking is available on our lot on a first-come, first-served basis. Street parking is strictly prohibited and vehicles may be towed.

If you are arriving with an oversized or non-standard vehicle such as an RV or truck with trailer, please contact us in advance to confirm availability. Please note that vehicles with an enclosed cuboid-shaped cargo area attached to a separate cabin are not permitted on the property.

Management assumes no liability for theft, vandalism, or damage to vehicles parked on the premises.

👶 Minor Guests

Where a minor is accompanied by an adult, the adult must agree in writing not to leave any minor unattended at any time during their stay, and to supervise the minor's behavior to preserve the peace of other guests and prevent injury or damage to property, per California Civil Code § 1865(d). Refusal to sign this agreement is grounds for refusing accommodations.

🛏️ Property & Suite Care

All amenities in each suite are inventoried. Missing or damaged items will be charged accordingly. Any damage to the property will be assessed and charged after departure.

Chateau Coralini is not liable for personal belongings, jewelry, valuables, or any items left unattended in suites or vehicles. Any items left behind will be held for 10 days and disposed of if not claimed.

🏛️ Our Estate

Chateau Coralini is a lovingly preserved Victorian estate with architectural details true to its original design, including characterful staircases and generous windows with low railings. Guests are advised to move thoughtfully through the property and to supervise children near windows and staircases at all times.

By staying at Chateau Coralini, all guests and their parties acknowledge the estate's character and agree that Chateau Coralini, its employees, and contractors are not liable for any injuries or falls due to not exercising appropriate caution.

🦠 Communicable Diseases

By staying at Chateau Coralini, guests accept the inherent risk of exposure to communicable and contagious diseases including COVID-19. Guests acknowledge that other guests, employees, and third parties may carry and spread such viruses whether symptomatic or not, and voluntarily assume this risk.

Chateau Coralini is released from all liability for any injury, illness, disability, damage, loss, or claim related to or arising from such exposure. Guests agree to isolate all members of their party within their suite should anyone present symptoms of a communicable illness.

🏢 Unauthorized Commercial Use

The property address may not be used for business registration, mail forwarding, commercial deliveries, or any unauthorized commercial purpose without prior written approval from management.

📸 Commercial Photography & Filming

Unauthorized commercial photography or filming on the property is prohibited without prior written approval and may result in additional charges or termination of stay.

⚖️ Management Rights

This property is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Failure to comply with any of the above policies may result in eviction without any right to a refund.
