We've stayed here twice when visiting family, and both times were perfect for what we needed, i.e., a clean, quiet, comfortable, reasonably priced place to stay one or more nights. And it is within walking or a few minutes drive of their home. We did not need an on-site restaurant, bar, or any other accommodations, but for larger parties these are available. Even without an on-site manager, it was easy to get in and out as we needed. And when on this visit we inadvertently left behind a couple articles of clothing, their cleaning person found them, and we were notified immediately so that we could arrange to get them back.

We had a great 2-night stay in the private cottage (A historic building converted into a nice cozy little family suite). The hosts were very friendly and shared lots of great info while also letting our kids play with their cute and friendly little pup and baby chickens. Highly recommended.

I almost hesitate to write a review for this place so that it can remain a quiet, pleasant secret for those looking for a nice stay just a little tucked away. The house and grounds are very pretty and quaint. I felt like I was in an old European manor rather than a traditional hotel. It was even far more affordable than hotels in the area and you feel as if you are staying somewhere many times the price. My only regret was that I didn’t stay longer. Would definitely go again!
